From appearing on the menu of your favorite restaurant to placing in this year’s top food trends lists, mushrooms are, well, everywhere! That’s why this National Mushroom Month we are exploring and showcasing both where and how people are sharing their love and curiosity for mushrooms.

Each week in September, we will be spotlighting a new U.S. region to share fungi facts, local restaurants, regional recipes and dietitian-approved nutrition facts. Here’s our itinerary:
