As if you needed another reason to love mushrooms: incorporating them into your burgers could win you $25,000! Join us and Bon Appétit as we celebrate National Burger Month with a most delicious recipe contest: Blended Burger Project: Home Edition.
What: Create and share your original spin on a blended burger (a minimum ratio of 25% chopped mushrooms to 75% meat).
What’s a blended burger? It’s just like any other burger you would make, but with finely chopped fresh mushrooms blended into the patty. Watch this blended burger video for inspiration.

How:
Step 1: Make a custom blended burger recipe at home, using at least 25% chopped fresh mushrooms in the patty.
Step 2: Take a picture of your blended burger: from the grill, in your kitchen or on the plate! Post to Instagram using the hashtags #BlendedBurgerContest and #BlendedBurgerProject.
Step 3: Visit bonappetit.com/story/blendedburgercontest to fill out official entry form starting May 1.
(Step 4: Eat that burger!)
