$10k Could Be Yours. Make a #BlendedBurger! 🍔
With primetime grilling season kicking off in your own backyard, we’re on the hunt for the most delicious homemade blended burgers out there. The Blended Burger Project: Home Edition is back for year two, brought to you by the same mushroom-loving duo: Bon Appetit magazine and the Mushroom Council®.Â
This year, three finalists with stellar blended burger recipes will be chosen to video chat with Bon Appétit Senior Food Editor Chris Morocco as he makes and tastes their burger recipes himself. Then, he will select one winner from the finalists to receive the grand prize of $10,000.
After years of making and tasting blended burgers, we’re convinced The Blend™ is the secret to making the juiciest, most flavorful, restaurant-quality patties at home. It doesn’t matter the meat or the mushroom variety, but that double umami impact and added nutrition just can’t be beat.Â
Want to throw your hat in the ring? Here’s how it works:Â
Step 1: Create an original blended burger recipe at home using at least 25% chopped, fresh, store-bought mushrooms in the patty.Â
Step 2: Submit your official entry at bonappetit.com/blendedburgercontest by June 30.
Bonus: Take a picture of your blended burger and share it on your public Instagram account with the hashtag #BlendedBurgerContest. Tell us what you love about it. While not required to enter the contest, those who post may receive something special in the mail.
